As you may already know that I have started reading the Book #1 in my challenge of reading #52Books in 2013(I know it is still 2012) . Before purchasing the hardcover I was confused whether should I purchase the Kindle version or the hardcover? Thank god I didn’t buy the Kindle one, it can not give the smell of paper of a new book. Or you never know with the latest advancements in technology, this may become possible. Ah! How weird would that be?
I searched allot before making the list of first 5 books I was going to read and I am happy with my settlement. I didn’t want to read the heavy books in the start. Let me build the habit slowly and steadily. I wanted to start with something that I have an interest in, something that I am curious to know about. And my search ended with this hugely popular book called ‘The Immortals Of Meluha’ based on lord Shiva.
There is a Hindu custom that I follow every Monday of bathing the Shivling with Milk. I am so inspired of Shiva that I even consider him as a father figure. I know it is sounding very dramatic but deep inside I have very high regards for Lord Shiva. The cover of this book says that Shiva was a man just like us with flesh and blood. If it is true I so want to read about it. How did he get to know about his powers? What made him the best dancer? Did he fall in love with Sati? Why is Nandi so dear to him? How is his neck so blue? How did he get so much of wisdom? And many more questions like this.
I have already read 6 chapters of the book and every chapter has ton of things I was unaware of Lord Shiva. I will be writing my thoughts on it as soon as I complete.

ooh think i must start doing this too
Why not? Let’s start and make a club then
